The self-proclaimed manager of
Britney Spears failed to show any charges for defamation and breach of contract brought against the singer's parents and guardians.
Judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles Suzanne Bruguera said Sam Lutfi's lawyer had not shown any of his charges in the case that focused on the events leading up to the singer's emotional crisis that is more than four years.
Lutfi representatives presented their case Tuesday but Bruguera agreed with the arguments of the lawyers for Spears' father and their executors on that there was sufficient evidence for his accusations were brought before a jury.
Lutfi sued the singer's mother Lynne Spears for defamation and her father Jamie for allegedly hitting him in the mansion of the star during an incident shortly before Jamie Spears and others to take over the life of the interpreter. Lutfi also claimed 15 percent of the profits from the singer but disagreed Bruguera.
Lutfi left the court without speaking to reporters and lawyers for both sides declined to comment.
The case centered on some of the darkest moments of Britney Spears including psychiatric hospitalizations that made his father was appointed her guardian.
The agreement is supervised by a probation judge told them not to allow the singer to submit to trial.
Lutfi's attorney Joseph Schleimer had said in his first statement that his client was a scapegoat for the decline of Spears.
He argued that Spears' mother lied by saying that Lutfi drugged star and isolated from his family.
But Lutfi failed to show a representation agreement that would have granted 15 percent of the profits from the singer on her 2007 album "Blackout" and other projects.
Lutfi filed his lawsuit in 2009 the same year as the guardians of Spears won a restraining order against him to prevent him to contact with Spears or meddle in their affairs.
Lutfi told jurors he faced death threats after publication of Lynne Spears book titled "Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World" and said the situation made him feel very depressed and suicidal.
