Mana exceed the record of proceedings of an artist or band in hall Staples Center, Los Angeles (California, USA), a mark until now in possession of Britney Spears, with eight concerts in the 13-year history that precinct.
Mana equaled that number last year, but their next three concerts at the Staples Center (19, 20 and April 25) of her "Drama and Light", with all tickets already sold, will beat the record for Spears, reported today in a statement the agency "Rogers & Cowan."
"Manna is a cultural and musical phenomenon that extends across Southern California. The speed at which tickets are sold in a fantastic gig," said Randy Phillips, president of AEG Live, the company that owns the pavilion, where play their home games Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA.
"They are the masters at concerts at the Staples Center and are one of the most important bands in music history in California," he added.
Their self-titled album was number one last year in the list of albums in Latin America, according to trade publication Billboard, and so far has sold over 190,000 units in the country.
The album has reached number one, also, the songs "Rain to the heart", "Love Underground" and "True love forgives."
