Lindsay Lohan was finally sentenced to 90 days in jail plus 90 days of inpatient rehab by judge Marsha Revel after violating her probation and not attending her weekly alcohol education classes. However, not before she sent a tacky message to what seemed to be the entire court system. ABC.com has pictures of Lohan's painted nails with the words.
Nothing short of a train wreck these days, Lindsay has fallen from the grace of her days as a promising new star. What seems to be incident after incident of either being caught with pictures of cocaine, stumbling drunk from a bar or even getting into a fight with ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson, Lohan is now looked at with a roll of the eyes.
Her father (who seems to have his own train wreck thing going on) recently went on a campaign to try and "save" his daughter by going to different radio stations and begging for help. The controversy over whether or not this was in the best interest for Lindsay or just the best interest for him heated up causing Lindsay and her mother to get involved in yet another family feud with him.
Mark Geragos, a lawyer not involved in Lohan's case, believes the sentence to be unreasonably harsh and thinks the only reason for such a sentence is because of who Lohan is. Geragos told Good Morning America, "The fact remains that if she was anybody else, Lindsay Smith, that she wouldn't be treated this way. ... This is a completely outrageous sentence in terms of her violation."
What do Lexingtonians think about the sentence? Meredith Houlihan had only this to say, "Finally."
I couldn't agree more, Mrs. Houlihan.
UPDATE: Now Us Weekly is reporting that Lindsay probably won't serve the full 90 days (which we all secretly knew, but we had hope...) She's probably going to only have to serve around 22 days,
