Lady Gaga Polaroid hosted a private press conference on the MIT campus in Massachusetts regarding a new exhibit that covers the history of the brand which is hoping to make resurgence in the wake of digital cameras and cell phone cams. Pop icon Lady Gaga was supposed to attend the press conference, but she blew it off, despite being on the campus grounds. What the hell does Lady Gaga need to attend a Polaroid press conference for? Simple.
She has been hired as the new Creative Director of the brand, serving as the face of Polaroid as well as assisting in creative design and marketing, according to Bobby Sager, the company chairman.
"When we heard she was interested in the opportunity, Lady Gaga was our first choice," said Sager, "She is more than just a spokesperson, she is a visionary." How she will re-imagine Polaroid remains to be seen.
