Britney Spears cruises Sydney Harbor with her sons

Britney Spears arrived in Australia's unofficial capital over the weekend with her sons and boyfriend Jason Trawick.

The circle of support appeared to give Spears some new momentum as she was seen looking carefree and relaxed after a rough start to her Oz tour.

Spears was engulfed in a controversy over her use of miming during her act. She appeared to be the unlucky catalyst in a debate brewing Down Under with politicians and musicians weighing in. But she also followed on the heels of a similar act by the wildly popular Pink.

Spears, in photos that surfaced, had in her hand a much loved Australian classic children's tale, Possum Magic by Mem Fox.

She was snapped in a tasteful two-piece swimsuit that showed wisps of tattooed ink inching above her bikini line at her hip bones. The singer looked svelte and tanned as she took in the Harbor on a boat on an overcast and muggy spring day.

She was seen with her small boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James with caring from Trawick. Kevin Federline is soon to arrive to join the family circle but also has gigs and appearances of his own lined up.

Britney Spears dead? Do you believe Britney died?

Britney Spears died on Friday according to more rumors. Has Britney Spears died? No, Britney Spears is not dead, and rumors like this are getting to the point of being quite annoying on the internet. This is another rumor that has been started by the same people being "credited" with the Kanye West death rumor. "Credited" has to be kept in quotations, because this is just a sick way for people to start rumors about someone they probably haven't met, and most likely won't ever meet in their lifetimes. Britney Spears is just becoming the latest victim of this trend of fake celebrity death reports that seem to be increasing in frequency.

There are some key points that you need to remember in this day and age, and the primary one is that if someone like Britney Spears died, it would be plastered all over reliable news sources before the rumor mill were to run wild with it. The reason for that, is that news sources are looking for stories like this 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and when they catch wind that something like this might have happened, they do their quick research to find out if it's true. There is a lot of money in it for web sites to be the first to report on the death of a celebrity, and even more for magazines that are looking to sell as many issues as possible surrounding the passing of a celebrity. Because of that, you can expect people at CNN or TMZ to be the first ones to post about a celebrity death, not a two-bit web site that makes up celebrity death rumors.

The fact that sites like the one in question keep making up these celebrity death rumors is that it draws more viewers to their web site, which in turn probably brings them a ton of advertising revenue from all of their readers. We aren't going to be listing the web site that started these current Britney Spears death rumors, as we aren't going to drive any more traffic in their direction. We also aren't going to fall prey to the dozens of fake user names they have created on sites like Twitter to try and spread their rumors faster. Britney Spears is not dead, and you can expect her or someone working for her to make a statement confirming that she is still alive very soon. Don't fall for the rumors, and don't give the web site that created the rumors more traffic than they deserve.

Britney Spears releases new video for "3"

For the unfortunate masses well acquainted with the Britney Spears catalogue of music videos, her latest, “3,” from her upcoming “Singles Collection,” is what one would expect from the aging pop-star.

The song is pretty standard post-“Toxic” Spears material, in other words; just catchy enough to avoid the skip button, but the intuitive mind can’t help but notice the song’s blunt statements about three-way sexual intercourse combined with the fact that Spears has surrounded herself with a majority of female dancers.

Never mind the lack of sense or creativity that went into the production of this video, and let us focus on Spears herself as she struts on camera in her typical skimpy outfits and continues to dance as uncomfortably as she did at the infamous MTV video-awards.

The singer’s material has not aged gracefully, as much of the late-90’s teeny-bopper pop hasn’t, yet she continues to pump out pseudo club hits similar to “3.” It’s becoming more obvious that beyond her “I’m not as innocent as I look” phase, Spears has very little to say artistically. At least this song is only amongst Spears’ better and more recognized music like “….Baby One More Time.”

The video can be seen on YouTube, and Spears’ upcoming collection of singles, appropriately titled “Singles Collection,” is due to hit stores Nov. 23.
